How it plugs in
Nothing here needs a custom checkout. It's built from parts Shopify already supports.

A thank-you page block
The game is a checkout UI extension placed on the thank-you and order status pages, so it shows up right after purchase and the merchant can move or switch it off from the checkout editor.

Real discount codes
Each play creates a single-use Shopify discount code through the Admin API, with an expiry date and any minimum order the merchant sets. The code is tied to the order that earned it.

Rules that stop abuse
One play per order, checked on the server. The server picks the prize before the game starts, so the scratch or spin only reveals it. Canceled and refunded orders void their codes.

Measured against a holdout
A small share of orders never see the game. Comparing their repeat rate with everyone else's is how the lift number is earned, and redemptions come straight from the orders that use the codes.
